5.PRIZES AND SCREENINGS
1) WITHIN ONE MONTH AFTER THE DEADLINE, our PANEL OF JUDGES made up of internationally renowned filmmakers will determine the
GRAND PRIZE WINNER (US $10,000) & the TWO SECOND PRIZE WINNERS (US $1,000 each.)
2) After November 26, 2006, when voting for the Online Audience Award by the public closes, we will tabulate the online votes. Whichever film receives the most votes will win the
ONLINE AUDIENCE AWARD (US $5,000)
So you have from the moment your Voting Page goes live until November 26, 2006 at Midnight, to mobilize friends, family and innocent bystanders to vote for you!
We will contact you via e-mail, phone or mail as provided by you, within five days after determining the last winner. If we don't hear back from you within five business days after that, we may select an alternate winner, so please be sure to give us current contact info!
The Grand Prize winner will also get the opportunity for a PERSONAL MEETING WITH VETERAN PRODUCER JACKIE GEORGE (Demolition Man, Richie Rich, Searching for David's Heart). Additional MEETING OPPORTUNITIES for the Grand Prize winner, i.e. with an AGENT FROM ONE OF HOLLYWOOD's TOP AGENCIES, are planned. Details to follow soon.
The winners will be officially announced and all winning entries (plus a selection of finalists) will be publicly screened at the official CINEMATIC CD FILM2MUSIC SCREENING & RECEPTION (currently planned for January 2007.) Additional screening opportunities are in the works.
Please note: You must follow ALL of the instructions and guidelines on how to register, make the film, submit the film and post the film online in order to be considered for any awards.
